Sreenivassan Ramaprasad, a Masters (M.Sc - Tech) graduate from BITS Pilani and a certified NLP practitioner. Ramaprasad started his career with Associated Instruments Manufacturers India P Ltd New Delhi, and consequently joined JK Tyres and CADD Centre in 1989
At CADD Centre, he grew to become the Executive Director of the company in a span of 15 years. During his tenure in CADD Centre he was instrumental in establishing CADD Centre in Delhi and making CADD Centre a national brand. He developed the equipment business of CADD Centre in 1995. With virtually no employee and nil turnover he built the equipment business to Rs 50 crores in a span of 6 years and strengthened the company to 225 executives. Currently he is the Director in CADD Centre Training Services, Asia Pacific’s largest CAD training network with presence in 30 countries.
Ramaprasad served as COO in a new venture called iKix 3D prints which specialized in 3D services. As a Chief Operating Officer, he was able to successfully get across the concept of 3D printing services to Architectural Industry. He is currently leading their Sales team and building a robust business. He recently started another venture called Saamartya that enables people to develop their people skills and business skills.
He is an active Rotarian, having led Rotary club of Madras West as its 50th President, made the club more vibrant with his interpersonal skills. He also initiated a Dialysis Center for the Club’s Thiruverkadu Medical Centre. He is known for his anchoring skills and he is a regular invited speaker in Rotary circles. Ramaprasad is also an active member of Professional Speakers association of India.
Ramaprasad was the Vice Chairman of Indo American Chamber of Commerce Tamil Nadu Chapter which is a chamber that promotes bilateral trade between India and USA. Ramaprasad got married to Geetha in 1993 and has a daughter by name Ananya who recently completed her Viscom( Visual Communications) this year and a professional actor.
1975 to 1983
A timid boy with truly little skills and confidence from Madurai. Poor in academics and jolt came in when 12th standard results came in. Thankfully his 12th marks were good enough to get admission in BITS Pilani Rajasthan
1983 to 1987
The confidence building phase. Ramaprasad from a timid boy transformed into a confident person in 4 years. The reason is exposure to new environment and competitive culture and “decision making” his ability to decide and challenge took him to a different level. First, he completed his 4-year integrated course in 3 and a half years by taking overload in other semesters. Second, he passed out with first division.
1987 to 1989
He started off his career as production executive at AIMIL New Delhi where he was responsible for inspection of products. After a brief stint he moved to JK Tyres in marketing department as a service Engineer. After 18 months, he joined a start up called CADD Centre as CADD engineer at Bangalore
1989 to 1995
He progressed in CADD Centre and took the mantle of leadership of Bangalore branch at an age of 24 where he got breakthroughs from companies like ITI and KEC. Then he moved to Delhi with the objective of establishing CADD Centre in Delhi. Eventually he progressed to become a business head and grew the training and software business for CADD Centre in Delhi.
1995 to 2000
This phase was a turbulent phase of his career. He moved out of training business due to restructuring of the organization. He was associated with Xerox business that came to an end by 1998 and new tie up with Oce Netherlands began. He had a team of 4
2000 to 2009
This phase was a golden phase where Ramaprasad from 4 people 0 turnover took the business to 45 crores with 200 plus people. From a training brand CADD Centre transformed into a strong equipment solution provider with a customer base of over 2000. Ramaprasad became the director in 2000 and executive Director in 2008. Business flourished until 2010.
2010 to 2016
This phase was again a turbulent phase where the business changed hands globally and as a result brought about a change in India and eventually Oce business was taken over by Canon and CADD Centre started fresh with ROWE Germany. Ramaprasad chose to start a new venture called Saamartya with the vision of enabling people to become more able
2016 to 2020
Saamartya began its journey with its first course on sales on May 18th, 2016. Since then Samartya has done several programs for individuals and Corporate. Over 3000 executives 50 plus companies have been transformed by Ramaprasad
2020 to 2025
Saamartya is hoping to establish itself as a leader in enlightening, enabling and empowering people. Their goal is to touch as many as 100000 lives and 500 plus corporate in the next 5 years.
